New opportunity not to be missed! Young’s has a unique opportunity available for a Breakfast Chef to join the team at the Alexander Pope Hotel. The role is a full time, permanent position offering a salary of 8.5/9 per hour plus excellent benefits.

What are the responsibilities of the Breakfast Chef?
As a Breakfast Chef you will be responsible for preparing and presenting all our breakfast dishes to the expected standard of presentation and food hygiene regulations at all times. You will demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of our food strategy through delivery of freshly cooked, British seasonal dishes and breakfast classics. You will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the development, implementation and review of the menu throughout the year. You will also adhere to licensing, food safety and health & safety legislation ensuring our pubs are safe for team and customers alike.
What do we look for in a Breakfast Chef?
Our food offer reflects our emphasis on high quality seasonal British food, locally sourced and prepared in-house and our Head Chefs and their team have the autonomy to deliver their own individual dishes according to the needs and wants of our customers.
You will have a passion & flare for producing quality fresh food in a busy kitchen environment. You will have experience working in a similar environment and demonstrate a passion to deliver outstanding food every time. You will show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills and also be responsible and able to manage the kitchen safely and effectively as required. Working alongside our Head Chef you will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to design and deliver new dishes for our menu.
